Dolma Daktsa is an experienced media professional with expertise in fashion and a deep interest in arts and culture. She occasionally dabbles with poetry, painting, and ideating on a synergy of both.

Her native country, Tibet, was invaded by Communist China in 1949. Soon after the invasion, her parents along with thousands of Tibetans fled from the fear of persecution and sought refuge in India.

It is where she grew up, in a modest yet thriving Tibetan community. Although from a small village, her dreams were big. After meeting every adversity of a refugee girl, she eventually went to one of the reputed journalism schools and ended up working with revered English daily newspapers in India including New Indian Express and The Hindu.

After writing extensively on fashion and lifestyle for Indian publications, Dolma moved to New York City to further pursue her creative endeavor. Upon her arrival, she started interning with premier fashion PR agencies in the city namely Purple PR and C&M Media where she handled mostly sample trafficking, influencer marketing, and research and participated in fashion weeks (Moncler).

She is currently working as a Client Advisor at Salvatore Ferragamo while studying advertising and marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
